Refund Policy for Transportation Services

At Falcon Cab, we aim to maintain the high standard of service and dedication you deserve. We’re committed to providing a seamless experience while balancing our operational needs. Below is a detailed breakdown of our refund policies giving you the flexibility you need.

Refund Policy for Booked Rides (Pre-Scheduled Rides)

When you schedule a ride in advance, we allocate a driver and reserve the time just for you. As a result, cancellations impact our scheduling.

  • Full Refund (Minus Service Fee): If you cancel your ride at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you are eligible for a full refund minus a 10% service fee. This non-refundable service fee helps cover administrative costs and driver scheduling adjustments.
  • Partial Refund: If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled ride, you will receive a 50% refund of the total fare.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will not qualify for any refund. This is because the driver has been assigned, and we’ve already committed resources to ensure timely service.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule instead of canceling, you may do so without any penalty if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Refund Policy for Immediate Pickups (On-Demand Rides)

On-demand services require immediate allocation of a driver, and thus, cancellations have a direct impact.

  • 5-Minute Grace Period: If you cancel the ride within 5 minutes of booking, no charges will apply. This allows for flexibility in case plans change immediately after booking.
  • No Refund After Dispatch: After the 5-minute grace period, the full fare is non-refundable, as the driver will already be in route to your location.
  • Delayed Driver Exception: In cases where the driver is significantly delayed beyond the estimated arrival time, we offer complimentary rescheduling, depending on your preference.

Refund Policy for Special Transportation (Winery Tours, Weddings, and Special Events)

For premium services such as winery tours, wedding transportation, or other special event bookings, we invest extra time and resources to ensure a tailored experience.

  • Deposit Policy: All special transportation services require a non-refundable deposit, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking. This deposit helps secure your event date and covers initial planning costs.
  • Full Refund (Minus Deposit): If you cancel your event transportation at least 14 days before the event date, you will be eligible for a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable, as this short notice makes it difficult to rebook the reserved vehicle and driver.
  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your event transportation at no extra cost if you notify us at least 14 days in advance, subject to availability.

Non-Refundable Trips

  • If you were informed during booking that your trip is non-refundable, this condition takes precedence over all other policies, regardless of any terms listed above. Please carefully review the specific terms provided during the booking process.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after your cancellation request is confirmed. Funds will be credited back to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

Additional Terms & Conditions

  • If your trip involves third-party services (e.g., event partnerships or winery tours), their refund policies may also apply, and refunds may be subject to those terms.
  • For any disputes or questions regarding cancellations, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of the trip for review.
  • Your total fare is made up of several factors, starting with a base rate determined by the distance and the time of your ride. If your route includes toll roads, the toll fees will be added to your fare, along with any applicable wait time charges and taxes. Additional fees may be incurred for airport pickups, extra stops, or travel during peak hours. Factors such as traffic delays, road conditions, inclement weather and extended waiting times can also affect the price. Some services may include surcharges for special transportation, service area, late-night rides, special zones, or luggage handling.
  • Lastly, tipping your driver is entirely up to you, and it’s a great way to show appreciation for exceptional service. For large group transportation or special services, a tip may be included in the total fare, but you can always adjust it based on your satisfaction.
